cor blimey what a good film. paul you can talk about it now I've seen it. went to
the electric to see it and what a great cinema it is - bottle of red wine whilst you're watching the film in your big comfy leather armchair (with footstool)? no problem.

good gig, loads of new stuff, quite a few old ones but hardly anything from Shiny On The Inside? Only Dangerous Dillitante as far as I can remember. old ones they did play were Ballroom, Slip It To Me, This Is For Real, Life On A Crescent, Aunty Mabel and Goodnight. top gig anyway and photos to follow later today...

techie phone/pc/bluetooth rubbish
excellent bluetooth guide here http://www.jonscaife.com/bt/ for people having trouble with bluetooth adaptors and their mobile phones. since the standards for bluetooth are not complete many implementations differ slightly between manufacturer and software designers so getting things working right can be tricky. this stuff works well for me though so I'm putting it here as a reminder for next time I re-install my pc.

bit of a late update, but GLC were amazing on Thursday night. was well impressed - especially the song they did with the furries. SFA were also magnificant, they played a completely different set to the last time I saw them including some different oldies like God! Show me magic and one off Mwng which I hadnt seen them do before. They finished with The Man and came on stage in their golden retriever outfits to be shot down my machine gun fire and stretchered off :D

Maupa were good if a bit coldplay/travis in their stylings (not necessarily a bad thing). south were excellent but the venue was a) crap b) full of cnuts and c) charging 3.10ukp for a pint of strongbow :(
