Christmas, New Year Update
Whats been going on?- Christmas Eve: Work followed by a few glasses/bottles of wine at home with Dad and Heather then out for an Italian with Abby, Andy and Owen.
- Christmas Day: Double meat fest. Turkey & Venison this year which me and Owen cooked for everyone. Lots of good red wine and several beers followed by The Goonies on DVD and a big sleep :D
- Boxing Day: 7 hours in the car - 4 of them on the M6. I kid you not. Shit journey to Blackburn, missed them drawing 2 a piece with Newcastle. 70 quids worth of tickets as well, arses.
- Day after boxing day: And Relax.
- Day after, day after boxing day: Drive down to Mum's in Stroud M6, M5 (in complete opposite of journey up managed to do it in under 2 hours) with only a couple of scary police car moments. Go out for a long walk in the countryside and end up as usual at the pub in Slad. Pint of Old Rosie, then back for a tasty Venison caserole.
- Wednesday: work.
- Thursday: Austria, Saalbach to be precise. I'm going to write a seperate entry about FirstChoice holidays as they really were stupendously rubbish. Snowboarding and generally having an ace time laughing at how the Germans really do seem match up to all their cultural stereotypes.
And now we're back at flat, back at work and isn't it all a bit depressing?
Finally managed to sort out the photos, which are gradually being ftp'd back up to the webserver. The newest ones should all be there already:
