Nice weekend in Cornwall
Packed loads into our bank holiday weekend. Dropped Tzar off at my Mums on Friday night and headed down to Polzeath at 5.30 on Saturday morning. Despite it being incredibly early the traffic was still pretty hectic. Made it down in good time though to find out that the campsite we normally stay at were going to be a bunch of tossers (again). So we sacked that off and went up the road.
Had a packed weekend featuring some windsurfing, surfing, lots of walking and plenty of eating/drinking. Sunday night we drank way to much cider so a big walk up Roughtor on Monday was just the ticket - photos here.

Just uploaded some pics to flickr of the new bike in the flesh, outside our house. Damn it looks good. No riding today I dont think - off to find some wind - shouldn't be too hard looking out of the window!

What's been going on
No updates for a while, busy as ever. managed to pass my motorbike test last week (first time, get in!). This means I can at long last get a bike which will still accelerate even when I'm doing 30 mph! Checked out a load in Blackburn (up the Rovers -
they beat Chelsea last night at home which puts them in Europe!) at the weekend including some old-style
Triumphs (love the look of the new McQueen style
Scrambler). Unfortunately the old style bikes seem really top heavy with wider bars than I'd like so it's going to have to be something a bit more modern for city riding (see pic for potential purchase -
kawasaki z750).
Not watched a whole heap of stuff but have been watching The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer which is even better than I remember it. Also managed to watch The Proposition on dvd the other week which I enjoyed. I cant make up my mind whether its really brilliant or really weird. Ray Winstone and Guy Pearce are both excellent although I'm not really a Nick Cave fan - tried reading one of his books a while ago and it was hard work. I guess the film is similar in that it's not an immediate thing. Also watched a load of films we've been recording off the tv - it's amazing how much stuff you just record when you have the option - we've easily filled our 160GB hard disk already and thats even with deleting stuff as we watch it!
