anyone got any news?

haven't updated the blog in a while so here's a little update with stuff what's been happening.

got some nasty food poisoning last week most likely due to my favourite chicken dansak/pilau rice combo from the raipur. goddamn, one of my favourite meals potentially ruined by having to do nothing but sleep, sweat and poo for a little over three days.

been watching a load of big night out on dvd which I've only ever seen a few episodes of before. £6 from amazon for both series I think, yep here it is, bargain!

got loads of new music but not listened to a lot of it yet. am liking the feeling a lot though, not sure how long this one will last but it's a great sing-a-long.

the zed is in the garage today for it's first service. just over 600 miles on the clock and it's purring along nicely. thinking hard about selling the mini although we've been out with the roof down a few times in the last week - we really dont use it much now that Emma is working across town and gets the tube. Bit of a waste of cash right now.

looking forward to being off to club vassiliki in a week or so. top up the tan, relax, eat some greek salad and hopefully get in some windsurfing :D

that's all for now

I've been using a collection of other tools to do this for a while now but this makes everything very easy. Get your bookmarks/history/cookies etc on every machine you use (providing you use Firefox!).

truth, justice and the british way

so I spent months trying to get my money back for a laptop which the royal mail managed to get stolen in transit. i'd paid for the extra insurance on special delivery and they still refused to pay up. a full six months later after an investigation by postwatch when I had just about given up and written off the money I get a cheque in the post and an apology from royal mail! YAY!

emma had been on my case telling me to go right to the top , get in their face and make them pay up - I followed the true british way of lying down and accepting the fate befallen to me and am pleased to say it paid off. that'll go some way to paying for our next club vass holiday! woo and indeed hoo!
