They're everywhere in london. Nearly got in a fight last night because some racist bigot dickhead decided to come and talk to us in Bar Ha Ha. What do you do in those situations? Anyway we made our get away legged it over to the Maple Leaf in Covent Garden to meet up with
Bommer & Lucy,
Boyzee and
Earl. Good to catch up with everyone and the Guiness was going down a treat until they ran out.
Good luck to Mr & Mrs Boyzee as they do the scariest bit and become actual real adult parents in the next couple of weeks!

snow in ealing
damn it was cold last night. up late in coding mode - went to bed around 1am and there wasn't any snow in sight. woke up at 7 this morning to this picturesque winter wonderland. tzar was completely confused by the snow but decided it was great for sprinting up and down in (I guess it must feel similar in texture to the sand he's used to running on).

gadgetless in a gadget filled world
we've had a bad few months, losing a digital camera, a nintendo ds and then emma's brand new w850i got brokened and carphone whorehouse refused to replace it (even though it was insured). grrr. insurance claims ago-go. anyway one thing to come out of it... never, ever, ever sign up for a mobile phone contract with craphone warehouse. they are the rudest most useless people I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. since the post office who stole my ibook. oh and powergen who couldnt sort out a gas and electricity bill for over a year and about 20 letters and a lifetime on the phone. oh and possibly ntl although I cant even remember the full story for that one it was so long ago.

happy new year one and all. we spent new year in saalbach, austria and had a great time, thanks. lots of snow and it seems we were lucky as there was bugger all then we got there and looks like there's pretty much bugger all again now. anyway all good for us!
loads of work going on. getting some more suppliers integrated into uswitch's car insurance product, it's also appraisal time so lots of meetings to attend. even managing to get some vertex stuff done in my spare time, at last, hurrah.
inversion of control is doing my head in - there is so much stuff I really need to fully learn and put into practice. I've got loads of ideas and theory but when it comes to getting it into my work - cor, its quite tricky isn't it?
