and friday rolls around again
how can the week go so quickly? em is up in the north and I'll be joining her tonight via the luxury that is virgin trains. not much to report. the beer fest last week was great (twice),
facebook is still happening, not seen a good film in ages, but have been watching some good tv (
the riches particularly seems like it'll be good although we've only watched two episodes so far).
have added a shared items thingy to the right, this is dead handy as I can simply flag anything I read from an rss feed using
google reader and it will appear automagically on there. check out Simon Munnery's latest post
kelp which I just added. top notch stuff.
ace weekend of not much at all
friday was more CAMRA beer fest action. highlight of this was the wild board(wild boar!) pie which went very well with the tasty cider. managed not to have any dodgy pints this time although several times I had to try 2 or 3 ciders before settling on one. saturday was spent feeling mostly hungover. guy and ginette came round on saturday evening and we met up with the bommers in ealing for (yet) more cider (westons vintage on draft in the north star, hurrah!) and later a rather ace Meze at Wine and Moussaka. the evening closed with an amusing session of wii sports where guy proceeded to pummel me in the boxing. he couldn't beat me at tennis though - topspin returns rock! sunday, more hangovers, a huge fry up in the cafe and few episodes of Waking the Dead. Lovely. Ready for another week of work...
